The Benton Harbor Arts Association will host the Fall Art Hop this Friday in Benton Harbor’s Arts District. The association’s Scott Gane tells us they hold Art Hops each year to connect people with all of the artists and businesses active in the Arts District.
“The idea behind it is to introduce local artists and creators and musical acts to the Downtown Benton Harbor Arts Association, or Arts District,” Gane said. “It also will feature those artists and creators and various businesses around the district.”
Gane says Arts District businesses will be holding special events for the Art Hop.
“Citadel Dance and Music Center, they’ll have live music, Water Street Glassworks is doing a pumpkin patch glass event, The Livery has an artist and the beer garden will be open.”
Gane also notes there will be live rooftop music. The Art Hop kicks off with a history tour of downtown Benton Harbor, offered by the Morton House. Then the Arts District events will run from 6 to 9 p.m. You can find out more about the Art Hop at the Facebook page of the Benton Harbor Arts district.
