Michigan Maritime Museum Bringing Back “Rock The Boat” Concert August 25

The “Rock The Boat” fundraising concert is returning to the Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven on Friday, August 25. The museum’s director of education and administration Ashley Deming says tickets sold very well last year and they have added more for 2023.

“We’ve opened up another 100 tickets, so we’re expecting 500 to 550 for the concert.”

The 1980s cover band The 1985 is playing the show again, and Deming says the stage is bigger with more lights and state-of-the-art sound.

“If people are interested in getting tickets, they should do early. Like I said, we sold out pretty early last year so if you want to ensure you get tickets, visit our website, michiganmaritimemuseum.org and get to tickets there. We do highly recommend that people book in advance.”

Tickets are $15 ahead of the show and $20 the day of the show. Kids 4 and under are admitted free. People do not need to be Michigan Maritime Museum members to buy tickets and attend. They will have Wood, Stock and Grill available on site for food purchase along with a cash bar. The show is from 6:30 tp 9:30 pm.
