From May 7th, 2023 through May 12th, 2023, ‘wine down’ from a busy and hectic week at Lazy Ballerina Winery! Both locations, in Bridgman and St. Joseph, will be offering Free Wine Tastings for teachers and nurses during Teacher And Nurse Appreciation Week.
“We come from a family of teachers (my dad and Melanie’s mom are both retired teachers), so we know how hard they work and how tough their jobs can be!” says owner, Lauren Kniebes. “And nurses are saviors that have dealt with so much in recent years.. Both occupations can be emotionally draining and thankless at times, so we want to recognize those in both fields, and show them a little appreciation for all they give to others.”
The usual $10.50 wine tasting includes five samples of any wine or cider, a chocolate truffle, a logo wine glass, and as always, the fun atmosphere of Lazy Ballerina. Reservations are not required for groups of less than eight, just stop in and show your badge! To kick off the week, they are hosting a Nurse and Teacher themed Adult Coloring Event at 11 a.m on Sunday, May 7th: buy a beverage, purchase a swear-word coloring book, and the coloring supplies will be provided.
Lazy Ballerina Winery hosts many events, craft nights, and tasting specials throughout the year. Education Professionals can enjoy 10% Off their purchase every single Friday, Yoga & Wine evenings pop up a few times per month, participate in Wine & Paint nights, and you can bring Mom to indulge in Mother’s Day Wine & Chocolate Flights on 5/14 (make reservations for this one!).
Lazy Ballerina Winery in Bridgman is located at 4209 Lake Street, and is open Friday & Saturday 12 p.m – 6 p.m, Sunday 12 p.m – 5 p.m.
