River Saint Joe Celebrates Three Years

“In the past three years, River St. Joe has found its voice and our place in the community,” says RSJ. “We’ve developed an amazing team of like-minded individuals who put relationships first, and who have helped to develop our offerings for the people we so love to serve. We look forward to continuing to grow, to learn, and to grow together with you all!”

Make your way to 15475 Walton Road in Buchanan on Sunday, April 30th, to celebrate River St. Joe and their three years in business! From Noon to 4 p.m, party with friends, family, staff, and wildlife, as delicious food and fantastic beverages flow. Enjoy smoked BBQ (from a whole pig roast!) and sides for $20 per plate, $10 for kids, that pairs perfectly with more than fifteen beers and ciders on draft. “Our brewer will be tapping firkins specifically made for the celebration, and we’ll have Anniversary merchandise available for purchase as well,” says RSJ. “Local musical trio Goat’s Beard will be performing in the beer garden from 2 p.m to 4 p.m, AND, there will be cake!”

The farmstead brewery destination on certified organic Flatwater Farms and the historic St. Joseph River offers a special and exceptional experience every day. Whether you are dining in, joining the knitting circle on Monday evenings, partaking in Trivia Nights, or renting the venue for your wedding or event, this plot of Earth is committed to working with land, cultivating relationships, and creating a meaningful environment.

“When people see pictures of our beer garden and the joy people find sitting outside at River Saint Joe, they can’t help but want to be a part of that,” says HR & Operations Manager, Kat Amundson. “We’re blessed to have a very loyal clientele who shares the amazing experiences they have here with their friends and family at home, and with their connections via social media. And we love seeing and sharing their memories!”

River Saint Joe is one of six local organizations who were recently awarded the 2023 Sustainable Business of the Year Award at the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum’s Green Gala. The ‘leadership in renewable energy and sustainable food systems’ at River Saint Joe is a reminder and an example of how we can work with our resources to create a better planet. “We have never stopped dreaming of more and better ways to grow: growing as a business, growing our communities, and growing our mission of sustainability and organic fostering of our corner of Southwest Michigan,” says River Saint Joe.
