Set for Saturday is the 26th annual COSY Radio Warm Your Heart for We Care Island Sit. COSY’s Paul Layendecker tells us he’ll be sitting out at the South Haven Welcome Circle downtown to take donations for We Care Community Center. Everyone’s invited to stop by.
“Businesses and organizations and individuals come out and stand out there in the cold and raise funds as people drive by,” Layendecker said. “We take change, cash, checks, anything that helps us get to our $40,000 goal.”
Paul says We Care helps those in need with everything from food to clothing to transportation. COSY raised about $40,000 for We Care last year. Paul will be at the Welcome Circle from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. You can stop by to make a donation or donate directly to We Care.
