A Murder Mystery Dinner to Kick Off the Year at Lakeside Inn

*UPDATE: Huge response! The January AND February Murder Mystery dinners are now sold out. But don’t fret— the March 11th and April 15th events have plenty of tickets available.

As we settle into our winter coziness, the Lakeside Inn on Lakeshore Road prepares for intrigue and thrills, with a particularly dark and creepy murder mystery dinner to start the year: The Noxhelm Murders.

On January 21st, 2023, this Mystery Party Game transports you to a “quiet, foggy town in an assuming neighborhood known as Misty Oaks… There is a sinister force lurking within the walls of what the town calls Ripper House. Built on an ancient burial ground in the 1920’s by The Butcher of Noxhelm, the house has claimed over a hundred lives with some of the bodies said to have been buried in the crawl spaces. Visitors claim to have witnessed lights flickering, doors slamming, and other unexplained incidents. But one thing is for certain – whoever owns the home is doomed for despair, destruction, and death.”

Lakeside Inn puts on multiple murder mystery dinners throughout the year, and ticket holders always have a fabulous time! Costumes are encouraged, but not required, and the ticket price includes a delicious dinner to enjoy during the evenings activities.

“We use interactive games that allow our guests to play the characters,” says Lakeside Mystery Maven, Katie Paradiso. “They all receive information throughout the game that allows them to examine their relationships with each other, and figure out which of them is the killer.”

Lakeside Inn is “Close to home. Away from it all,” at 15251 Lakeshore Road in quaint Lakeside. 6:30 p.m is the start time for the January 21st Murder Mystery Dinner, and tickets are $45 per person. This event is B.Y.O.B, and you can reserve your place for the game by calling 269-469-0600, or by emailing Katie at events@lakesideinns.com.
