As we share in the joy of giving this season, Moersch Hospitality Group reminds us to give back whenever we are able. Each month, their “Cocktails 4 A Cause” initiative partners with a local or national organization that shares in their passion for giving back, allowing them to further serve their communities.
Any MHG location (including Round Barn Winery & Estate, Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant, and Free Run Cellars) will feature a delectable beverage that will benefit the chosen charity or group. For the month of December, ‘Buddy’s Boozy Cocoa’ was created to raise funds for Marine Toys For Tots, a seventy-five year old organization that ensures less fortunate children receive a gift for Christmas. Buddy’s Boozy Cocoa featured Round Barn’s Black Walnut Cream, white chocolate hot cocoa and frosted mint simple syrup, and topped with whipped cream and crushed peppermint.
“We are proud to have been partnering with Marine Toys for Tots since 2005, by having their donation boxes at Moersch Hospitality Group locations,” says Meagan Veldman of MHG. “This year we continue to show our support for this organization while impacting the lives of families across the nation, making their holidays extra special.”
January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and MHG is proud to stand with the Southwest Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force to aid in their efforts to educate and raise awareness on how human trafficking is still prevalent today. The new year will introduce a new Cocktail 4 A Cause, so you can sip, savor, and support, all at the same time.
“At Moersch Hospitality Group, we all have one thing in common—a desire to make a difference,” Meagan adds. “We believe in supporting our local communities and the organizations that serve them. Our long-standing commitment goes back to our core values: sustaining relationships and the environment, building a home within the community, and dedication to family. We are proud to support organizations that make our little corner of the world so special.”
