There’s still about a week to go for the annual Whirlpool Community Charity Golf Event Warehouse Sale. The golf event’s Mari Hoffman tells us items left over from the golf fundraiser in the summer are sold off to benefit local organizations.
“We have leftover items we’re trying to sell to raise more money for our five benefitting charities,” Hoffman said. “They are the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan, First Tee of Benton Harbor, and the public school foundations for Benton Harbor, Lakeshore, and St. Joseph. They are our local charities and are doing great things for the kids, especially this time of year for the holidays.”
Available items include shirts from the Kitchenaid Senior PGA Championship, golf balls, bags, mugs, umbrellas, and stand mixers. All purchases are made online, and Hoffman says the pickup location will be in St. Joseph. She invites everyone to make a purchase to benefit local young people. The sale runs through next Thursday, and you can find the sale right here.
