Only a few more Spring-warmth days are peppered into the forecast for the next week or so, but our area is already gearing up for winter– holiday parties are stamped on our calendars, and small businesses are preparing for eager shoppers. Though the snow has yet to fall, Round Barn Estate’s Winter Village is open for the season, thanks to sponsor Honor Credit Union, and you can enjoy the cozy amenities now!
“There’s something magical about the Round Barn Estate, come winter”, they say, and we couldn’t agree more. The Igloos at the Village offer a view from inside a snowglobe, as you enjoy a delightful beverage, all bundled up in blankets. Each igloo is heated, and your reservation guarantees you two hours inside this cozy winter dreamland.
With the capacity for eight guests at once, the “Sincerely K&J Igloo Experience” comes decked out in holiday decor, with board games, bluetooth speaker, and a private server to ensure your coziness level never drops. Available Friday through Sunday, reservations begin at $160, with add-ons available, including the option to have food delivered from the Brewery & Public House, if you so choose.
If you’d like to gaze at winter from afar, the Round Barn Suite, located upstairs of the estate, can seat twelve guests, and holds a two-hour block for your private get together. The $50 reservation fee includes a private server, daily food truck menu, drink flight menus, and the same charcuterie + mimosa bar add-ons as the igloos. Dotted throughout the property will be roaring fire pits, staving off winter’s chill and keeping our noses rosy and warm. The fire pits are first come, first serve, and do not require a reservation to enjoy. Purchase a S’more Kit, and make the day even sweeter!
Need to stay on the move to keep warm? The Mt. Tabor Trails offer every bit of wintry adventure, with three and a half miles of perfect snow-shoeing landscape. Tighten your boots, grab a mug of mulled wine, and explore the frosty vineyards and snow-dusted terrain.
