They say that it takes a village to raise a child…and we’ve learned a lot about some of those who have been raised in our midst over the past half dozen years or more since launching the Moody on the Market 40 Under 40 Young Professionals award series. In fact, we’ve learned that many of those who had the benefit of a veritable village during their formative years are now giving back to that some community in multiple rewarding ways. The past winners lists of our 40 Under 40 frequently read like a Who’s Who of young leaders in our midst, and now we’re looking to add to that list.
From cancer researchers to financial professionals…from non-profit stars to creators, makers, educators and beyond, our 40 Under 40 lists are noteworthy. Now, it’s time to add to the rosters from over the years.

The nomination process is now open for the Class of 2022 for the 40 Under 40 right here on Moody on the Market.com. Presented by McGhee’s Heating & Air Conditioning, the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber, the Inn at Harbor Shores, Silver Beach Pizza, Lake Michigan College and Honor Credit Union, with support from the Mason Jar Cafe and United Way of Southwest Michigan, nominations will be taken exclusively through the online link provided below through midnight on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
Who among your family, friends and colleagues is a rising star in the region? Get them into the running by nominating them today. (Just be sure to read the past winners lists to make sure that they haven’t already won in the past, as there are no encore winners.) Also, take note that this is not a popularity contest. You will be asked serious questions about the nominee and his or her work in the community on the survey instrument. Besides, it only takes a single nomination to get a candidate under consideration by the selection committee comprised of judges who will determine the final 40 winners.
