The Baroda Area Business Association and SCORE of Kalamazoo/Southwest Michigan invite you to learn about free small business tools this week at Chill Hill Winery in Baroda.
On Thursday, June 23rd, join entrepreneurs and small business owners from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a quick presentation about how SCORE can help your business grow. Chill Hill Winery, located at 8986 1st Street in Baroda, will host this event at their ‘slice of tiki paradise’, offering a welcoming atmosphere, ‘where there is a little something for everyone’.
SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is a national non-profit organization that offers free mentoring to new and established small businesses, while providing helpful information to those just curious about what they do. SCORE of Kalamazoo/Southwest Michigan was established in our area in 1975, and has been lending a hand to small businesses for nearly fifty years. Their team of certified mentors assisted in starting up sixty-five new businesses in the year 2021 alone.
SCORE presents help in many forms, and is knowledgeable in all aspects of business, such as:
*Starting/growing current business
*Business planning and financing
*Hiring and retaining employees
*Social media and marketing, and much more.
The Baroda Area Business Association takes pride in their hands-on approach of businesses helping businesses, strengthening the community in which they serve.
