The Bridgman Public Library can be found at 4460 Lake Street, but through the world of books and fun Summer activities, you can adventure anywhere! This year, the theme for their Summer Reading Program is ‘Oceans of Possibilities’, and offers six weeks of ocean exploration and all things water-related.
The Rock & Roll Beach Party, for youth ages 3 – 11, will happen on Monday, June 13th, and acts as the gateway to a season of fun. Beginning at 1 p.m at the library, rock out to classic songs with a musician, while the kids participate in making music. This date also marks the start of the summer reading program, and it will run until July 23rd. The Teen Book Club pick-up week for grades 7 – 10 is June 13th-17th, and the book discussion will take place on July 20th.
June, July, and August will be swimming in a sea of activities: Movie Mondays, Take & Make projects, the Survival Island Escape Room, art collages, an Alligator Sanctuary program, and more!
