Overview: This is the race weekend getaway athletes need to experience before the craziness of summer begins. Athletes start their day on a scenic journey through Southwest Michigan, traversing through wine country and beaches to the finish line. After competing, premium vacation amenities are close by to help athletes unwind and toast to a job well done.
Course Details: Jean Klock Park
Swim: 1.2-mi swim in the iconic Lake Michigan, where athletes will combat 1 to 3-foot waves.
Bike: 56-mile bike course through the rural and scenic roads of northern Berrien and western Van Buren counties. This area is part of the Michigan “fruit belt” and includes numerous farms as well as vineyards and orchards.
Run: Transitioning from the bike, athletes will start their 13.1-mile run through Harbor Shore’s Jack Nicklaus golf course, which is the site for the 2022 Senior PGA Championship, then making two loops of the Maytag Corporate campus park.
