Spring has sprung and new life is peeping around every corner: The Mitten Children’s Museum in South Haven has officially opened! The Historic Conger House at 246 Broadway Avenue has been filled with education and wonder, and the doors are now open to the public.
Monday, April 4th brought excited children and parents into the museum, eager to see the new space and jump into hands-on learning.
“All of the exhibits are open now, and there are nine total; each with a Michigan-centered theme,” says Director Wendi Onuki.
The Motown Music Room, Car Room, South Haven Beach Room, and Invention/STEAM Lab are just a few of the spaces offered that are sure to help imaginations run wild. This is a place of exploration and education, and promotes childhood growth through interactive activities and learning.
