As we’ve been taught by a lovable elf on screen, ‘The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!’ Thanks to the Lighthouse Chorus and their quartets, you can send joy this holiday season in the form of a Singing Christmas Telegram.
Performing in four-part harmony barbershop style and under the direction of Gene Hanover, the Lighthouse Chorus showcases a large variety of music from Broadway to Gospel, Doo-wop, and more. Founded in 1999, this chorus has won multiple awards across the Michiana area, and has performed in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. This group is a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a world-wide organization that has approximately 30,000 members.
The delivery date for the singing telegrams is December 14th, and will only cost you $40. The package includes a small box of chocolates, a personalized card, and two holiday songs. Surprise your coworkers, colleagues, friends, and family with the perfect gift while also supporting local musicians. There are a limited number of bookings available, so shop early! Call 269-471-4559 or email lighthousechorus@lighthousechorus.org to purchase your singing telegram.
If you’d like to join the Lighthouse Chorus, they are always looking to add more men to their group. Practices take place on Thursday evenings at 7 pm, at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Niles, located at 9 South 4th Street.
