In Southwest Michigan, nothing says “Autumn” quite like the harvesting of fully ripened crops and plump fruits. In preparation and celebration of this plentiful season the New Buffalo Business Association is hosting its 15th Annual New Buffalo Harvest & Wine Fest on Saturday, October 9 from noon to 9:00 p.m. The festival will take place in downtown New Buffalo along Whittaker Street between Merchant and Mechanic Streets.
Representing all that the season has to offer, the Harvest & Wine Fest boasts an abundance of family-friendly activities including nonstop live music, unique art and makers vendors, farm market vendors, award-winning wines from Southwest Michigan, local beer and hard cider, tasty fare from area restaurants and food trucks, pumpkin painting, kids games with prizes and more!
Live music includes The 1985 (7:30 p.m.), Gerry Hundt Trio (5:30p.m.), Top Secret Band (3:00p.m.) and Edgar Willbury Experience (12:30p.m.)
Planned over the Columbus Day Holiday for those with an extended 3-day weekend, the New Buffalo Harvest & Wine Fest will serve as a focal-point in downtown New Buffalo. Lodging information at harvestandwinefest.com.
