The LAKE EFFECT JAZZ BIG BAND is teaming up with an amazing vocalist ANDREW FISHER, along with the Citadel Dancers, to produce a wonderful tribute to the music of FRANK SINATRA this coming Saturday evening, September 11 on the Mendel Center Main Stage.
This is a fundraiser for the Citadel Dance and Music Center that provides lessons, classes and scholarships for students of all ages in Southwest Michigan.
The event will feature Andrew Fisher singing 19 of Sinatra’s most famous tunes including My Way, New York New York, Fly Me To The Moon and many others. The Lake Effect Jazz Big Band, under the direction of Steven Reed will be backing him up in the way Count Basie’s Band did for Sinatra in the 60’s and 70’s.
Along with two open bars and food available for purchase, you’re guaranteed a beautiful evening set to look like a night club on the Mendel Center Stage. Tickets are still available to celebrate the music of old “Blue Eyes!”.
