Traffic may be significantly affected starting Monday, August 30 by CSX Railroad work to improve several crossings in Lincoln Township. Glenlord Road will be the first location impacted.
Here are details in a statement from the Berrien County Road Department:
Currently they are scheduled to close the CSX railroad crossing on Glenlord Road starting Monday, August 30, 2021. The crossing will be completely shut down to all traffic, once closure begins. Repairs are expected to take 2-3 days once closure begins (weather and contractor work permitting.)
Following Glenlord Road they will be moving to Marquette Woods Road. Only one crossing is to be closed to traffic at a time.
After Labor Day (September 6, 2021), they anticipate beginning the Maiden Lane crossing repair work.
