There’s at least one sign that some normalcy is returning. A long traditioon associated with the Labor Day Weekend’s Tri-State Regatta is returning to the St. Joseph River Yacht Club.
It’s the Yacht Club’s annual Tri-,State Regatta Party, running all day and into the night on Saturday, September 4. Commitee Chair Kim Kragt says it’s one of the times that the general public is inivited to the Yacht Club:
“Come for a full day and night of food, libations, dockside camaraderie, and live musical entertainment. The award-winning and high-energy band Libido Funk Circus takes the main stage at 8:30 p.m. and will keep the party going until midnight, making for a great night of outdoor music.”
The day kicks off with a breakfast buffet from 7:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a grilled lunch from 12:00-3:00 p.m. The dinner menu features a choice of New York strip, chicken, or vegetarian entrée with salad and sides from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Food and drink tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
There will be a $5 cover charge after 7:30 p.m. for non-club members. The event takes place rain or shine under the big tent at the St. Joseph River Yacht Club (1 Lighthouse Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085).
Additional parking will be available in the nearby Wwhirlpool parking lots.
The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
