There are lots of places for you to get cookie-cutter decor and knock-off merchandise that will have your home or office looking a lot like everybody else’s. Or, you can make your way on a (hopefully) sunny Saturday in June to scour the handiwork of more than 50 regional artisans and crafters who will be sharing their talents in the upcoming Lake Bluff Artisan Fair overlooking Lake Michigan in downtown St. Joseph.
St. Joseph Today organizers say that more than 50 of those regional artisans and crafters will line the bluff at the Lake Bluff Artisan Fair, held in Lake Bluff Park from 10:00am-5:00pm on Saturday, June 5th. Those who make the journey to check it all out will find unique one-of-a-kind handcrafted, homemade goods such as home décor, furniture, jewelry, candles, clothing and more.
The team at St. Joseph Today invites the entire community to enjoy the eclectic artisan fair which returns not only for the June 5th show, but also on July 17th, September 4th and September 25th. While you are downtown, be sure to eat, shop, stay and play to maximize your weekend experience and support area businesses.
Amy Zapal, Executive Director of St. Joseph Today, says, “If you are looking to participate as a vendor, a limited number of spaces are still available,” and says that for more information on becoming a vendor, you can click this link: http://stjoetoday.com/artisanfair.
Shoppers can continue their stroll along Lake Bluff Park and browse the St. Joe Farmers Market which will hold extended hours of 9:00am-5:00pm, on those four Lake Bluff Artisan dates. The market is held every Saturday May 29th through October 9th (except July 10th) from 9:00am-2:00pm. Zapal notes market shoppers will find homemade goods, locally grown produce, perennials and cut flowers, meats and cheeses, coffee and more.
