There will be at least one new member of the Berrien RESA Board of Education following the organization’s biennial election slated for June 7th. While incumbent board member Dave Pagel is seeking a new six-year term, Trustee Cathy Bair is not seeking re-election.
As a result of her decision to step away, five individuals filed with the Berrien County Clerk’s office to be considered in the race, including Pagel who serves as Vice President on the Board currently.

The candidates are:
- Dave Pagel (incumbent), Berrien Springs
- Sara Bates, Buchanan
