If the pandemic has you feeling housebound and you’d like something to look forward to in the great outdoors this holiday season, the City of St. Joe has a new winter activity for everyone to consider.
The City of St Joseph Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce a family friendly outdoor winter activity for everyone to enjoy. Milton Park, at the corner of Winchester and Niles Avenues is decorated with candy canes. You can stroll through the park and look for all the different candy canes, read the storybook, Katie the Candy Cane Fairy that is posted throughout the park, look for the hidden rocks with holiday pictures, grab a craft from the park’s pergola to take home and, of course don’t forget to grab an edible candy cane before leaving for home.
The activities will be set by this Wednesday, December 16th and are slated to stay through the end of the year as supplies allow. They are all self-guided activities, so the city encourages you to “Grab your hats, gloves and winter coats and explore Milton Park this winter.”
