While in the long run Clark Griswold might have had a few more lights than Ken Kuespert, we’re pretty sure that Kuespert and his family have considerably more fun than the “National Lampoon Christmas Vacation” squad, and they certainly know how to put on one heckuva show right here in Michigan’s Great Southwest.
For the past 20 years the Kuespert family has done a “synchronized to music” Christmas light show at 185 Bell Road in Niles, but Ken tells me, “This year we have expanded the show again!” He says that families can “go out” and have a Covid-19 friendly event without even leaving the couch.
Kuespert, who owns and operates TPC Technologies, says, “This year we have raised the bar again and are doing a 5-camera professional video production live stream that will run about 45 minutes long.”
The event, which can be viewed at the link below as well as on Facebook, is slated for 6pm this Friday night. Ken says, “We will have two Emcee’s introducing each of the songs and will feature ‘remotes’ from 5 other area light displays.” Here is the link: http://www.lightsonbellroad.com
The display will be running nightly from 5 pm till 11 pm, and Kuespert says they plan to keep it ‘on’ until the weekend after the New Year and is streamed with a single camera every night.

- Granger Lights in Granger, Indiana
- Harbor County Lights in New Buffalo, Michigan
- Lights on East Main in Niles, Michigan
- Holiday Lights on Edison Road in South Bend, Indiana
- Lights on Sunnymeade in St Joseph, Michigan
