If you routinely travel Paw Paw Avenue just north of the city limits in Benton Harbor, there are roadblocks in your future beginning tomorrow morning, Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at 7:30am.
The Berrien County Road Department tells us that Paw Paw Avenue south of Madeline Avenue will be closed to all traffic “indefinitely,” beginning Thursday for maintenance.
The project is both “weather and work dependent,” which is why the closure is open-ended at this time.
Paw Paw Avenue just south of Madeline Avenue will be closed to all traffic, as work will take place in the road and road right-of-way to locate and address a water-related issue.
There will be traffic restrictions and a detour route as shown on the map accompanying this story on Moody on the Market.
You are asked to seek alternative routes or use the established detour route, which runs from Paw Paw Avenue to Madeline Avenue to North Shore Drive to Territorial Road, then back to Paw Paw Avenue.
