A cemetery memorial crafter in business for more than 125 years in Mattawan has been sold in a private deal through a Grand Rapids intermediary to Patten Monument of Comstock Park.
Campbell Murch Memorials has been manufacturing and engraving cemetery memorials in the Van Buren County community of Mattawn since 1894. The buyout by Patten Monument was arranged through the services of Grand Rapids-based Small Business Deal Advisors.
In the storied 126 year history of Campbell Murch, the craftsmen served countless customers and solidified a brand that had become supremely trusted and relied upon by the West Michigan community. As a well-established firm, Campbell Murch boast experienced employees well-equipped to provide ongoing top-quality products and services.
Campbell Murch had been owned for the past 36 years by Todd Sokolowski. When he decided he was ready to retire from the business, he engaged the team at Small Business Deal Advisors to help him find the right buyer. Doug Yntema served as the lead advisor on the project.
