Paw Paw Seamstress Donates Reusable Masks to VB Sheriff’s Team

A Paw Paw woman has made the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office a bunch of happy campers thanks to her donation of reusable protective masks to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 during the pandemic.

Sheriff Daniel Abbott says that Susan Haynes-Stender, a professional seamstress in business for herself in Paw Paw donated the masks to help employees of his department remain healthy during the current state of emergency.

Haynes-Stender made the donation today, and Abbott says his office has accepted them for distribution to ensure the Van Buren County Sheriff’s team remain safe and able to continue their service to the citizens of the county.

She is shown in the photo making the drop off of the professionally sewn masks today.
