You know that the business transition has been a success when you’re literally too busy to conduct a ribbon cutting at the newly relocated business center until half a year later. Nevertheless, you always want to capture the moment and share with customers that same measure of success, which is why Renee Demske enlisted the assistance of her friends at the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce to make things official some six months after she took the reins at Xpress Printing of St. Joseph.
A great crowd of fellow Cornerstone members, ambassadors and others joined family and friends as Renee wielded the giant ceremonial scissors Thursday afternoon to showcase her newly relocated business after buying out her former boss, Wally Buesing.
It was a double honor for Renee not only formally marking her take over of the long-running business, but also recognizing her successful relocation to a higher visibility location off the corner of Red Arrow Highway and Glenlord Road across from Coach’s Bar & Grill.
Renee officially took control through her ownership back on February 1st of this year, but has been racing through the year taking care of ongoing business at Xpress Printing, while also moving the business to the new site at 4086 Red Arrow Highway. Renee is anything but a stranger to the business, having been an integral employee for the last 16 years. She served as the office manager and bookkeeper leading up to her new role as Owner and President. Additionally it was her leadership ability that resulted in the new location on Red Arrow Highway in St. Joseph.
Under Renee’s guiding hand, Xpress Printing continues to offer the same services including printing, graduation announcements, as well as the more sophisticated art of logo creation and layout design. As her motto says “We bring print to life,” for personal or business applications.
