Chalk up another milestone and a first for the innovative team at Round Barn Brewery & Public House. For the first time in the history of the company, Round Barn Brewery is releasing a barrel-aged product in a bottled version. Fans of Round Barn’s Barrel-Aged Catharsis have made the stout one of the most popular brews in their entire line-up.
Now, Round Barn Brewery & Public House will be releasing 4-packs of their Barrel-Aged Catharsis, which is a Russian Imperial Stout. The beer is one of the most sought after offerings Round Barn has ever witnessed. The official release will take place at the Public House in downtown Baroda next Thursday night, April 19, 2018, starting at 7:00pm with a full Barrel-Aged Beer Dinner event. Attendees will have the first chance to take home Barrel-Aged Catharsis bottles, a very limited quantity.
The one-of-a-kind Barrel-Aged Catharsis label was created by local artist, Christina Casperson. She will be attending the release party where more of her artwork will be on display and the label artwork will be permanently added to the Public House decor. The Public House will also premiere a behind-the-scenes video of the making and inspiration behind Catharsis.
Here’s what you will find on that evening’s menu:
- Bourbon Barrel-Aged West Highland paired with smoked pheasant breast, applewood-smoked bacon, rosemary maple glaze, & fingerling potato salad
- Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake Stout paired with portobello mushroom stuffed with lamb, spinach, feta, and balsamic onions
- Barrel-Aged Catharsis paired with braised beef short rib, smoked blue cheese cake, and tart cherry demi-glace
