Horizon Bank Names Radde Replacement at SJ Helm

With the announcement last month of the impending retirement of Market President Don Radde, Horizon Bank has now confirmed that his replacement is David Eifler.

Horizon Bank announced this week that Eifler will serve as Market President of Berrien County. He will reside in the bank’s Ship Street office in St. Joseph, replacing Market President, Don Radde who is retiring on December 31, 2017.

Eifler has over 30 years of commercial banking experience in Southwest Michigan. He brings extensive and broad-based experience to Horizon and has served the region’s customer base of manufacturing, metal working, automobile suppliers, retail, agriculture and real estate companies. As a corporate steward, he will help promote economic growth within the communities of Southwest Michigan.

He received a Bachelors degree from Albion College in Albion Michigan well as a Masters of Business Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. This year he also has been awarded the SMEGA’s Robert Harrison Lifetime Achievement Award for Economic Development and the State of Michigan Governor’s Special Tribute for economic development and teamwork.

Eifler is an active member of the community and currently serves as a board member of Lakeland Health Foundation and the Cornerstone Alliance and is the President of Southwestern Michigan Economic Growth Alliance (SMEGA) and is on the Economic Development committee for the Michigan’s Great Southwest Leadership Council.
