When you’re constantly innovating new designs, new technology, and hot new products, inevitably the product cycle ends up leaving some things in the obsolete column. With Whirlpool Corporation’s manufacturing and engineering teams continually striving for the next breakthrough appliance, occasionally there’s a need to purge the system of discontinued products. Fortunately for the people of Michigan’s Great Southwest, that means another great opportunity for some bargain pricing on the things that have to go.
Once again, the Benton Harbor-based appliance giant is throwing open the doors onto a public Summer Appliance Sale to benefit the company’s internal United Way campaign for 2017.
On the first official weekend of summer, Saturday, June 24th and Sunday, June 25th, Whirlpool will host their big Summer Appliance Sale in the Center for Partner Development (CPD) building on the company’s corporate headquarter campus with entry at 1800 Paw Paw Avenue in Benton Harbor, on the backside of the campus proper.
All proceeds from the sale will go to the company’s employee campaign for the United Way of SW Michigan. The sale will take place on Saturday the 24th from 8am until 3pm and Sunday from 9am until 2pm, offering up your chance to grab a great deal along the way.
The sale will include more than 200 deeply discounted Maytag, Amana, KitchenAid and Whirlpool brand ovens, ranges, microwave hoods, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers all at significant savings. The sale is of new and good discontinued and obsolete product in original packaging with a full one-year warranty. They will also have several KitchenAid Small Appliances offered at exclusive prices.
Please take note that all product purchased at the sale must be picked up during the actual sale hours. For an additional $100 donation per appliance, home deliveries will be available inside a 15-mile radius. Cash and credit cards accepted for payment, however they can accept no checks and they will allow no early sales.
Gather your neighbors, friends and relatives and shop for new appliances at prices you typically can only dream about.
