As the one year anniversary of the horrendous loss of noted broadcast journalist and community activist Denise Bohn approaches, there was a special moment at the Berrien County Board meeting this morning that brought it all back into focus once again.
The 9-1-1 Dispatcher of the Year played a major role in not only the police response to the crime scene at Denise’s home, but also played a major part in the community’s response on behalf of the Bohn children. My colleagues at WSJM News filed this report on today’s proceedings and share with you not only her memory, but also a forthcoming permanent tribute at the entry to our broadcast studios on Napier Avenue.
