Before a full house at the Mendel Center Monday night, the 91st Miss Blossomtime was crowned. The new royalty representing our area is Miss Benton Harbor 2024, and now Miss Blossomtime Armani Collins.
More than 20 community queens vie for the title of Miss Blossomtime. They are judged on poise, interviewing skills, community service, & communications as well as stage presence & personality.
Ms. Collins’s pageant profile notes, “Benton Harbor has been the co-host of the Blossomtime Festival since 1906 when agriculture and related industries were and integral part of everyone’s lives. We still grow some of the best produce available and our impact on the food processing industry is nationally known. Today our most important product is people. Benton Harbor, like Blossomtime, strives to bring people together in the workforce as well as during their leisure time.”
