This event is open to Berrien County residents only, and no business waste is allowed at this event.
Books and shoes will be recycled to Goodwill, bikes will be shared with Cycle-ReCycle of Benton Harbor, eyeglasses will be shared with local Lions Clubs for reuse, and plastic grocery bags will be recycled by Martin’s Super Markets.
There is a recycling fee of $10 per computer monitor and $20 per television set (including all types). All other items are accepted at no cost. However, donations will be gratefully accepted to offset the costs to stage the event. Payment must be made by cash or check, made out to County of Berrien, at the event.
Participants will enter the LMC campus at the Napier Ave entrance and follow the event signs. The event will be set up in the parking lot in front, or south, of the Mendel Center.
