While Thanksgiving is only three weeks away, we’ve only recently seen the onset of colder temperatures, so it’s not quite ski season yet. Nevertheless, just thinking about the upcoming holidays gets a lot of people into the mood to think about eventual trips to Timber Ridge, so they’re hosting a Ski Swap this weekend.
For the 42nd consecutive year, Timber Ridge Ski Area near Gobles here in Michigan’s Great Southwest, will host their Annual Ski Swap from tomorrow through Sunday, November 3rd through the 5th, and you are invited.
The Timber Ridge affair is the largest ski swap and sale in all of West Michigan, with brand new and slightly used equipment, clothing, and accessories all up for sale. Knowledgeable sales associates will be available to help you find the right size and the level of equipment that you need to enjoy your time on the slopes this winter.
The huge Ski Swap is also a perfect time to pick up a season pass to Timber Ridge and take advantage of pre-season rates, available through Monday, November 6th.
The Snowshoe Bar at Timber Ridge will be serving drinks and food from 2pm to 7pm tomorrow, Friday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday. Other activities include a 150-foot Summer Tubing lane set up on the hill. Cost of tubing is $2 per run or $5-bucks for the day.
Timber Ridge is also hosting a job fair for the upcoming season on Saturday, November 4th from 11am to 4pm, for those interested in joining the hospitality industry at the ski area.
Timber Ridge is located on 60 beautiful, naturally-wooded acres near Gobles here in southwest Michigan, just 15 miles northwest of Kalamazoo, where over-night lodging abounds for those making a weekend of it now or in prime ski season.
